[edit] not a phylogenous tree
There are species on some internal nodes (are those extinct species? Is there proof that these species are direct ancestors of the species on the branches?)and the tree is not very clear (I assume the root would be somewhere on the branch to "all other birds", but this is not shown in any way).

I think I now understand what it is... Not an ancestral tree at all, but instead a graphical representation of the classification of birds.
