Gangapur City is a city and a municipality in Sawai Madhopur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.

Gangapur City has an average literacy rate of 61%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 48%. In Gangapur City, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Gangapur City is also famous for Kalyan Ji mela. This is three days fair attended by a large number of people. At the fair one can have the glampses of Rajasthani culture, Kavi Sammelan and listen to Lok Geet by Gurjar tribes.
