Gary Anderson (Recycling)

Gary Anderson is the original designer of the recycling symbol. In 1970, as a junior at the University of Southern California, Gary won a competition by a recyling product maker to help push recycling forward. The resulting symbol is now universally recognized throughout the world.[1]
