[edit] Synopsis
Twelve year-old Jerry and his sister Terri go to visit their aunt and uncle who live near a cemetery as well as a beach that has a scary cave and is the subject of local legends. Jerry and Terri are told by local kids that the cave is haunted but of course they decide they need to check it out for themselves and journey off to explore the dark and forbidding cave. A flickering light entices the kids in and soon they wish they would have heeded the warnings. Late one night, Jerry sneaks out to find out where the flickering light is coming from. His sister also sneaks out. The flickering light turns out to be a mysterious man's candle. Jerry and Terri thinks that the man is a ghost but it turns out to be a scientist that studies the supernatural (The cave is a sanctuary that the man is trying to trap some of the many ghosts on the beach with.) The man tells Jerry and Terri he is not a ghost--and the two find out that their friends are the ghosts of children who died during a cold winter on a ship. In the end, their aunt and uncle also turn out to be ghosts when Jerry's dog won't stop barking around them. Then the dog starts barging at Agatha and brad.
