Giant (magazine)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Giant Magazine is a bimonthly magazine which caters to men's interests. The first issue was printed in October 2004.
Giant focuses mainly on popular culture, including reviews of video games, movies, fine tobacco, music, everyday happenings (such as the fall equinox and Leif Ericson Day), and celebrity interviews. Recent issues have included interviews with students at the University of California, as well as astronauts. Celebrity women are also featured in provocative poses, but not to the extent of lad mags such as Maxim, Stuff, or FHM. This restraint has not kept the magazine from being sued, however, by several Hollywood starlets.
With the August 2006 issue, the magazine had a makeover under new editor-in-chief Smokey Fontaine, formerly of the hip hop magazine America.[1]
