GORAN TRENCHOVSKI (24.4.1970, Strumica), director & writer
Graduated directing at the Art Academy in Novi Sad. As director he chose works of the following authors: Aeschylus, Plautus, Buechner, Witkacy, Beckett, Ionesco, Pinter, Havel, Stefanovic, Cernodrinski, Madzunkov, Garvanlieva etc. He wrote three books; two are about the performing arts and the last one - Poetics of (De)thronization is a study research. Some of his projects are Slavic Orpheus, Beggars' Opera, The Spirit of the Can, Multilevel, Vampirdzhija, Under, Tobacco Album. His directions are screened and staged on Festivals in BA, SCG, BG, AL, GR, SI, IT, RU, TR, PL. He lived in spiritual emigration in Prague for a year. He has worked in almost every media in several drama genres and species. Currently he is a free-lance TV&film&theatre director and scriptwriter. He also has an experience as a producer, publisher and founder/artistic director of the AsterFest Ltd - Macedonia.
