Greater Ranges

The Greater Ranges comprise the high mountain ranges of Asia: the Himalayas, the Karakoram, the Hindu Kush and Hindu Raj, the Pamir Mountains, the Tien Shan, and various smaller mountain ranges of China, especially in Tibet. All of these ranges have peaks over 6000 m (19,695 ft), and most have peaks over 7,000 m (22,966 ft).
