Greg Todd

Greg Todd has been a broadcast journalist for more than 30 years, working for stations in San Diego, California, Seattle, Washington, Indianapolis, Indiana, Youngstown, Ohio, Dubuque, Iowa, Carbondale, Illinois, and Lincoln, Illinois.
Greg joined the team that knows San Diego at Fox 6 News XETV shortly after moving to America's Finest City permanently in 2002.
Greg began his broadcast career at age 15 as a volunteer at one of the first public radio stations, WLCC in Lincoln, Illinois. He had an FCC license before he had a driver's license.
The Bedford, Indiana native is an award-winning reporter, news anchor and meteorologist. The graduate of Southern Illinois University began his television career as a weathercaster. But a short time later, at age 22, he became the nation's youngest weeknight news anchor in a top-100 television market.
His next move returned him to his childhood home of Indianapolis, Indiana where Greg anchored the state's top-rated weekend newscast for more than a decade. He also received numerous awards for his work. His live coverage from the scene of an air disaster brought him special recognition from the Radio Television News Directors Association for his sensitive handling of the story.
Before joining Fox 6 News, Greg was a meteorologist for KOMO-TV in Seattle. He also was a reporter and co-anchor of the Sunday morning news.
Greg has an extensive community service record. He has served on numerous boards of directors, including the Indianapolis Ballet Theater, the Mental Health Association (where he was board president), United Way, Friends of Public Broadcasting and the Indy 500 Festival Associates where he was emcee for major 500 Race events. Greg also served as emcee for local segments of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Labor Day Telethon for twelve years.
In his spare time Greg is an avid reader. He also likes hiking and biking around scenic San Diego.
In addition to his current work at XETV, Greg has also worked for KOMO, WRTV, WFMJ, KDUB, WCIL, WSIU, WPRC and WLCC.
