This article is confused as to what it's subject is. The title "Hacker (cheater)" implies a cheater is a kind of a hacker, but the text says they're different. My suggestion would be to rename the article "Game hackers" and have "cheater" a subsection. —Pengo 12:02, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- I've just merged the main Hacker reference cheater subsection into the security subsection; from where I sit it seems that such "hackers" are just a special case of security types, although some may fall under the programmer subsection (EG, those developing "mods", "skins", or additional levels). I added a link to the CIA triad over there to help clarify the concept of security.
- This page was created by someone who hasn't contributed anything else since. I'd call for speedy deletion if I wasn't so heavily involved in the Hacker entry. However, I suspect myself of bias against someone meddling with "my" article's glorious elegance, and thus refrain. =) Abb3w 00:41, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
