Henry Lloyd

Henry Lloyd (February 21, 1852–December 30, 1920) was the 40th Governor of Maryland in the United States from 1885 to 1888. He was born in 1852 in Dorchester County, Maryland and died in 1920 in Cambridge, Maryland. He is buried at the Christ Church Episcopal Cemetery in Cambride, Maryland. He also wrote the "Wealth Against Commonwealth".

Henry Lloyd also helped defeat the Russians in the Russo-Japanese War. By pretending to be a Russian diplomat, he was able to gain entrance into the Czar's personal quarters and tip off the Japanese Emperor as to what the Russians were planning.
