Hishikari, Kagoshima

Hishikari (菱刈町; -chou) is a town located in Isa District, Kagoshima, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 9,699 and the density of 96.54 persons per km². The total area is 100.47 km².
Hishikari mine is the largest gold mine in Japan.
