Holland-Bukit Timah Group Representation Constituency

Holland-Bukit Timah Group Representation Constituency (Simplified Chinese: 荷兰-武吉知马集选区) is a five-member Group Representation Constituency located in the central, western and northern areas of Singapore. The Group Representation Constituency has not received a contest since it was formed in 2006. Originally known as the Holland-Bukit Panjang Group Representation Constituency, it was renamed to its present name due to the Bukit Panjang ward of the GRC was carved out to form a Single Member Constituency. The Bukit Timah Single Member Constituency was absorbed and became part of the GRC with the previous Member of Parliament, Wang Kai Yuen, retired from politics after serving for five terms.
Holland-Bukit Timah GRC is currently led by Mr Lim Swee Say, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Secretary-General of NTUC.
The GRC is divided into five parts namely, Bukit Timah, Buona Vista, Cashew, Ulu Pandan and Zhenghua. In this wards, Bukit Timah Road is nowhere located near or within the Bukit Timah boundary. Instead, the Bukit Timah ward consists parts of Clementi, a portion of Jurong East, International Business Park, Toh Tuck, Eng Kong Gardens and Faber Heights. The Buona Vista ward consisting of Holland Village, Commonwealth Drive public housing estate, a section of Holland Road residential estate (Leedon Road, Leedon Heights, Cornwall Gardens). The Cashew ward consists of Chesnut Drive housing estate, Cashew Road and Dairy Farm Road. Ulu Pandan consists of Clementi Neighbourhood 1, Sunset Way housing estate, Sixth Avenue, Bukit Timah Road, Old Holland Road, Mount Sinai, Ghim Moh and Farrer Road. Zhenghua consists of Central Water Catchment, Mandai, a portion of Bukit Panjang, MacRitchie Resovoir, Old Upper Thomson Road, Binjai Park and formerly a portion conered by Pan Island Expressway, Eng Neo Avenue, Dunearn Road and Adam Road which has been transferred to Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency.
