Hossein Kazemi (Persian: حسین كاظمی , born October 3, 1979 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian football player, currently a defensive midfielder for Esteghlal F.C..
He was an on-and-off player during the IPL 2004/05 season, but he became a pivotal part in the 2005/06 Esteghlal team and won a fixed spot in Esteghlal's stacked midfield. He has scored a few important goals for the club.
He was called up to join the national team in August 2006, and made his debut for Iran in a friendly match against UAE. As of February 2007, he has three caps for Team Melli.
