As the head of Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization of Iran, Marashi increased the budget of the organization. But at the same time, some of Marashi's opposers believe that the disappearance of some invaluable historical pieces and destruction of some historical building happened during his responsibility, and they claim that despite public pressure, he never took any action to stop the trend. Marashi supported the construction of Sivand Dam in the territory of Pasargad.[1]
