Hot Tub is an episode of Malcolm in the Middle.

Hal buys a hot tub, much to Lois's dismay, but in the hot tub grows a 6-inch thick layer of algae resulting in Hal having to have lots of his skin burned off. Malcolm gets his driving permit and when he is driving the babysitter to the Lucky Aid, on the way she steals an urn in which her ex-boyfriend (Danny)'s father's ashes are along with her mother's, her cat's, and those of a dog that they both owned when they were together. It ends up with Malcolm pouring the ashes out of the car window. Dewey makes a friend, who is stolen by Reese, but the new "friend" is only using Reese to beat up other kids. Otto's wife Gretchin's ex-boy friend comes to stay at the ranch; it turns out that Otto stole Gretchin from him.
