Hugh Pigot

Hugh Pigot may refer to:
- Admiral Sir Hugh Pigot (1721-1792), admiral and commander-in-chief of the Royal Navy's West Indian fleet from 1782; brother of Robert Pigot and George Pigot.
- Captain Hugh Pigot (1769-1797), son of the first Admiral, who was murdered during the mutiny on HMS Hermione in 1797.
- Admiral Sir Hugh Pigot (1775-1857).

1. Hugh PIGOT; Captain, R.N.; died Lisbon, 3 Feb 1794.
3. Hugh PIGOT, b 28 May 1722; joined the Royal Navy, 1736; Lieut, 1742; Commander in the W. Indies & America; Rear-admiral of the White, 1775; Vice-admiral of the Blue, 1775; Admiral of the Blue, 1782; died Bristol, 15 Dec 1792; marr 1stly, Elizabeth Le NEVE, with issue; marr 2ndly, Elizabeth WROTTESLEY, with further issue including:
i. Hugh PIGOT, b Patshull, Staffs, 5 Sep 1769; Captain, R.N.; killed in the mutiny on the H.M.S. Hermione, 21 Sep 1797; possibly marr Miss PROBY.
