Hugo Porfírio

Hugo Cardoso Porfírio (born September 28, 1973 in Lisbon) is a Portuguese football player in midfielder role.
He joined English club West Ham United on loan from Sporting CP in 1997, but joined Racing Santander after one season. In 1999 he joined Nottingham Forest on loan from SL Benfica, but only started in three matches. He later played for Marítimo, U.D. Leiria and Al-Nasr.
For the Portugal national football team he was in roster for 1996 Olympic Games and for Euro 1996. He got 9 caps and scored 1 goal.
