[edit] biographical
Evan Dorn, Age 30. Pasadena, California, USA.
I am a graduate student at the California Institute of Technology, preparing to defend my thesis in "Computation and Neural Systems" sometime in the winter of 2004/2005. My research interests are in Artificial Life and Astrobiology, particularly in how experiments with artificial organisms can elucidate the impact of evolving biosystems on their environment in ways that could be measured by scientists searching for extraterrestrial life.
I am also a freelance web designer and computer/SOHO consultant. [1].
