Impurity (album)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Impurity is the 5th studio album of British rock band New Model Army. It was released in 1990 and re-released in 2005 as a limited edition remastered 2-CD-set. It was produced by Pat Collier and the band themselves.
Impurity marked the exit of bassist Jason Harris who was replaced by Nelson. It was also to become New Model Armys last studio album on EMI.
The album sees the band venturing further into the musical territory which they began exploring on their previous album, Thunder & Consolation. Again with violinist Ed Alleyne-Johnson as a vital collaborator. It also featured the works of guitarist Adrian Portas.
