Intensive pronoun
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An intensive pronoun is a pronoun used to add emphasis to a statement; for example, "I did it myself." English intensive pronouns use the same form as reflexive pronouns. An intensive pronoun is different from a reflexive, because you can take the pronoun out and the sentence still makes sense. Ex, I will do it myself. You can delete myself, and the sentence still makes sense. Ex. I will do it.
