Isaac Okoronkwo

Isaac Okoronkwo (born 1 May 1978 in Nigeria) is a professional football player who currently plays as a defender for FK Moskva.
He started his career at FC Lagos from there he goes to the nigerian topclub Julius Berger FC. His first club outside Nigeria was Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova from there he goes to Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine. With Shakhtar he played Champions League and UEFA Cup. After his contract finished in Ukraine in 2003 several FA Premier League Clubs and clubs in the German Bundesliga like Schalke 04 and Borussia Mönchengladbach try to sign him. Finally he signed with Wolverhampton Wanderers. After Wolves were relegated from the league, Okoronkwo was released to Alania Vladikavkaz. In 2005 Alania closed with financial problems. 2006 he signed with FK Moskva.
Okoronkwo played 25 games for Nigeria national football team, the "Super Eagles". He played two times Africa Cup and the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan.
