Ishtar TV (Syriac: ܥܫܬܪ) is an Assyrian-based broadcasting channel which has it's headquarters at Arbil, Iraq. The channel was lanched in the summer of 2005. The language broadcasted mostly in Syriac, but Arabic and Kurdish are heard throughout the day as well.
The name Ishtar comes from an ancient Assyrian goddess.
