[edit] Etymology
IxnayOnTheTimmay comes from Bad Pig Latin, and means roughly to nix the standard Internet nomenclature that requires extra letters and numbers to make the Internet identity unique. It is, ipso facto, also an example of what it defines. Therefore, my Internet identity is unique and doesn't require any extra letters or numbers. I can take solace in the fact that out of all 6.6 billion people on the planet, or rather all 500 million with Internet access, I am the only one. Yay for that...
[edit] Aboot Me!

I will spend time perusing the articles on Wikipedia, because in doing so, I will have access to the collective knowledge of humanity. Sometimes though, people will misspell words in Wikipedia articles, or one of the trivial bit material (Say for example, a trivial piece of information in a Simpsons article) might be just a little bit off. And that is when I come to the rescue!
I am not Canadian.
I contribute to pages and articles in English and Spanish. My Spanish skills are at an intermediate level, so I do what I can when I can do it and no more.
[edit] The Present
I have taken initiative charge of an unofficial project: Updating Cities With {{Infobox City}}, and Adding To The Infobox A .SVG Map Of That City's Location And Then Removing From City Articles All Old Maps That Are Either Inaccurate, Show Just A Dot On Them, or Were Made In MSPaint In About 23 Seconds. I say "unofficial", because there is no direction to it or aim, or even a target. There isn't even something to shoot with. Currently, I am focusing on cities in Arizona, where I live. The UCW{{IC}}AATTIASVGMOTCLATRFCAAOMTAEISJADOTOWMIMSPIA23S Project should keep me occupied while helping out the WikiProject Arizona peeps.
Here are the new maps I have done so far:
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Maricopa County
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Pima County
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Pinal County
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Cochise County
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Santa Cruz County
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Greenlee County
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Graham County
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Gila County
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Yuma County
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of La Paz County
I have also compiled data and put them into {{Infobox city}} templates for articles of cities and unincorporated areas in these counties.
Here are the new maps that other users have done as part of this unofficial project:
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Yavapai County by Arkyan
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Coconino County by Arkyan
- Wikimedia Commons - Category:Maps of Mohave County by Arkyan
[edit] The Future
Some day in the future, Wikipedia will have an article for everything. Some day in the future, we will fly around in jet cars, everything will be nuclear-powered, and all food will be in pill-form. I help out by creating articles which don't exist yet. I am proud to have created the county island and North Garland High School articles, because those topics were apparently too boring for anyone else to take on. Hurraw.
[edit] And Now For Something Completely Different
- Did you ever notice how men are always leaving the toilet seat up? ... That was the joke.
- Pac-Man
- Uncyclopedia gives one more laughs than Wikimapedia [sic].
