J. Remington Wilde

J. Remington Wilde (born in Iowa in 1951) is an American songwriter. He began his professional career in Nashville, TN in 1977, and signed with ATV Music Group (now Sony/ATV Music Publishing) in 1979. His songs have been recorded by many Country and Pop artists, including Ray Charles, Gary Allan, Juice Newton, Conway Twitty, Clint Eastwood, Tommy Overstreet, Randy Travis and more, earning numerous RIAA certified Gold and Platinum awards. His songs have also been in several feature films including the Universal Pictures 1990 release White Palace, starring Susan Sarandon and James Spader.
