Jabra Ibrahim Jabra

Jabra Ibrahim Jabra (born in 1919 died in 1994) is a Palestinian author. He was born in Bethlehem. He was educated in Jerusalem and, later, at Cambridge University. He settled in Iraq following the events of 1948. He was a poet, novelist, translator and literary critic. One of his novels is "In Search of Walid Masoud". He also translated some English plays to Arabic. He has around 70 books between novels and translated material, his work has been translated into more than 12 languages.
