Jack Petersen

Jack Petersen (September 2, 1911 - November 1, 1990) was a boxing champion from Cardiff, Wales.
On May 23, 1932, Petersen won the British light-heavyweight title, defeating Harry Crossley. Later that year, on July 12, he knocked out Reggie Meen to add the British heavyweight title to his account. Having lost the title to Len Harvey in November 1933, he won it back the following year. He made eight successful defences of the title and claimed a Lonsdale Belt. In all, he won 33 of his 38 professional fights, 19 of them on knockouts.
