Jaggy Shivdasani

Jaggy Shivdasani is one of India's most successful bridge players. Having burst on the Indian National scene in 1976 by winning the premier Holkar trophy on debut as a 16 year old, he went on to win all National titles usually multiple times. He represented India in numerous International events including at the World Bridge Olympiad at Venice in 1987 where his team reached the semi-finals before losing to the ultimate winners U.S.A.
Earlier he had created history when he became the first foreign national to ever win a major U.S. National title when he won the Spingold at Baltimore in July 1986 on debut[1].
