The Ski Trip is the 12th episode of American Dragon: Jake Long.

The episode opens with Jake and Rose making a snowman. Rose leaves for a second to get sticks for arms and Jake breaths fire on the snowman, melting it into an ice sculpture of Rose and when Rose returns she is touched. Jake tries to kiss her, but Rose's beeper beeps and she leaves. The next day Jake decides that is time to tell Rose the truth.He tells Spud and Trixie that right when Rose comes over and says dragon but she is talking about his snowboard. At the Ski Lodge, Jake gets rooms with Brad and Trixie gets put with Rose.Brad tries to charm Rose with his sensitivity and gifts every time Jake wants to talk to Rose. Jake pays Trixie to get Trixie to reveal Rose's true feelings for him to her. Later, Spud tries to master the Ski Lift and Jake tries to help until he hears something. Huntsgirl has captured an abominable snowman and she has called the Huntsman to let him know that he can pick it up, but the Huntsman tells her to kill it and bring the pelt to him, and if she doesn't she shouldn't even bother coming home. Rose sighs, but Jake arrives in dragon form and after a brief battle, Rose flees, but she drops something. Jake picks it up and calls to her, but then he realizes that it's a Ski Pass.
Jake tells Trixie and Spud and together they try to look for Huntsgirl, but Trixie notices Rose asking Rotwood for another ski pass and then body slamming another kid into Rotwood when that kid startles her. Trixie thinks this is evidence enough, but Jake refuses to even think that Rose is Huntsgirl. Later, Jake walks into Trixie and Rose's room to see Rose doing chin ups. Trixie thinks this is even more proof that Rose is Huntsgirl, but Jake once again refuses and then follows Rose into a blizzard.Spud keeps on making these weird poems.
Jake sees Rose, but then his vision blurs and when he looks again, he sees Huntsgirl. He flies up to Huntsgirl, but a cage drops on Jake trapping him. Back at the Ski Lodge, after some angry ranting by Trixie, Jake's friends decide to go help him. Meanwhile, Jake is able to get out of the cage and Rose flees on a snowboard and Jake follows. The chase ends when Jake knocks her off the board and pins her to a tree with icicles like a carnival knife thrower. Rose tells Jake that he can go ahead and kill her, but the Huntsclan would find him, but to her shock (and Jake's) he just pulls off her glove to see her birthmark. At that moment Jake realizes the awful truth: Trixie and Spud were right, the whole time he was fighting Huntsgirl, he was fighting Rose. Rose breaks free and tells him that the birthmark is "the mark of the Huntsclan" and it destines her to slay dragons. Rose goes in for the kill with a battle cry, but her yell causes an avalanche.. Jake easily flies away while the snow sweeps Rose off her feet and off a cliff. Jake swoops down and saves her life, but she is ungrateful and still tries to kill Jake, but Trixie and Spud stop her. Rose vows that she will eventually kill him and flees and Jake sadly goes back to the Ski Lodge.
The next day on the bus, Rose approaches Jake and cheerily asks if she can sit by him, but after some heart breaking thinking, he refuses and Rose walks away shocked.
