I added the {{wronglicense}} tag because the present license says that it is the uploader's work, however, in the summary, this is clearly not the case. Metros232 14:42, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
- Could you point me in the right direction for the correct assertion of license. I have the express permission to use the club photos to post on wikipedia. I have been told that the copyright has been transferred to me, and as such I am allowed to use the pictures to depict the players of the club. I have sought and recieved this permission.
- Can you give me the correct term or category under which the license falls. Londo06 18:37, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

- From how you describe it, permission was granted for use on Wikipedia only, which is not a liberal enough license to be used on Wikipedia except under the terms of "fair use". Ideally, Wikipedia and its contents should be licensed under a GFDL, which allows use for pretty much any use under the condition that its contributors are properly credited. If you can show that the creator does release the image under such a free license, then that would be fine, but the presence of a watermark indicates that they may like to wield a retain a little more control over their work.
