James Dill

James Peers Dill (born:1859 died:1937) was a politician from old Northwest Territories Canada.
James first ran in the 1888 Northwest Territories general election but was defeated by Benjamin Parkyn Richardson in a 6 vote margin. In the 1891 Northwest Territories general election James would face Benjamin again this time earning a substantial majority. James would serve 2 terms total before retiring prior to the 1898 Northwest Territories general election.
During his time in office James was a vocal supporter for teaching youth in the territories english only.
