James Ogilvy, 7th Earl of Findlater

James Ogilvy (1750-1811) was 7th Earl of Findlater and 4th Earl of Seafield . On his death the earldom of Findlater became extinct. It is said that he harbored a disliking of women and was exiled from Scotland on acount of crimes he committed for this reason. However, he did donate much of his considerable wealth to the beatification of Dresden.
