Talk:James Esdaile

I have moved the "Esdale" page to this page; simply because "Esdale" is a mistake. His surname is Esdaile. This fact is confirmed by a wide range of sources, including the catalogues of the Library of Congress & the British Library and, for example, a recent work of high-level "hypnotic scholarship" (Gauld, A., A History of Hypnotism, Cambridge University Press, (Cambridge), 1992) -- all of which show the surname Esdaile (and, more importantly, none of the records that I have been able to consult indicate that Esdaile ever used such an alternative spelling of his surname at any time during his life).Lindsay658 00:00, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
