Jamis bikes are very innovative and rugged. The 2005 Jamis Dakar was voted the Bike of The Year by many biking magazines. It is clearly superior to any other mountain bike its price because it features fox racing suspension among other great parts, while most bikes in its price range have cheaper parts and are made of lower grade materials. - Maybe so, but aside from your statement that the Dakar won Bike of the Year, much of what you wrote above is subjective and reads like an advertisement. Cant include that in a wiki article. co94 April 24, 2006
- there is a lot of weasle words, such as won 'many awards from different magazines', with no references. a self-published local newsletter isnt really a source for wikipedia. as for highly regarded bikes, this definitely reads like an advert, and might i add that i've yet to meet a cyclist who prefers Jamis, only yesterday a group were discussing how you don't need a licence to sell Jamis cos theres not much quality control. please make this sound less like an advert
