Jennifer Armintrout

Jennifer Armintrout (b. July 15, 1980) is an American author published by Mira Books,[1]. Her first book, Blood Ties: The Turning[2] has been on sale since June 2006 in five countries. On June 8th, 2006, Blood Ties Book One reached 93 on USA Today's top 150 book list. The second book in the series "Blood Ties: Possession" will be released sometime in February 2007. An excerpt of the new novel can be found on her website (refer below for the author's website). The third book in the series is still being made titled "Blood Ties: Ashes to Ashes" and hopefully will be released sometime in June 2007. Her inspiration for the novels came from her own experience when working at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Doing some work in the morgue, made her wonder what it would be like if one of the deceased patients was a vampire and that's where the first novel began. At the moment she is completing the third novel in the series and doing book signings. Details of where they are happening can be found on her site.
