Jesse Jackson White (born 9 January 1988 in Brisbane, Australia), better known as Jesse White, was drafted to the Australian Football League club the "Sydney Swans" on November 25, 2006. The Sydney Swans used pick 79 to snare him.
Jesse stands at 192cms and was drafted from the Australian state of Queensland. A former basketballer who represented Queensland at Junior Levels, he quit Basketball at under 16s level to concentrate on getting drafted but was hampered by injuries in 2005, not realising his dream until 2006.
Jesse is seen a long term prospect for the Swans and due to the Swans current playing strength, it is unlikely that Jesse will play Senior Football this year outside of the Pre-Season.

[edit] Early Success
Jesse has had early success at the Sydney Swans, playing in a Trial match against Collingwood, a NAB Cup match against Western Bulldogs, and a trial match against Richmond, Jesse has excited fans with his size and ability to score goals in each of these matches. While it is still unlikely that Jesse will play seniors in 2007, early indications are that his career is what he makes of it.
[edit] Basketball
Jesse played for the Australian state of Queensland in Basketball, but quit the sport to concentrate on AFL.
