Jim Thomson (footballer)

James "Jim" Thomson (born 15 May 1971 in Stirling) is a Scottish footballer currently playing for Queen of the South. He has previously played for Clyde, Stenhousemuir and Arbroath.
A central defender, Thomson has been player of the season three times over a ten year period for Queens.[1] In late August and early September 2006 he had a 'clean up' operation on his knee but has come back and scored two goals so far this term, one a spectacular overhead kick.
