There are some very biased statements on this page.

Specifically: "He is known for being one of the league's best young centers and power forwards of limitless potential. Nicknamed "Jumbo Joe" for his large-body frame, Thornton is well-recognized for his passing prowess, incredible on-ice vision, and ability to make silky-smooth plays."

Opinions of him were not nearly so glowing in Boston. Admittedly, he has talent. But he was considered by many to be a disappointment, never really delivering on the promised potential (drafted first overall). [there are also those who believe the guy is a huge douche bag, but that's neither here nor there..]

Naturally, there is some bias to those views as well. Also granted, he has had a lot more success in San Jose. Not knowing wiki's guidelines on things like this, it seems that both sides of the coin should be acknowledged, or the article should be a lot more neutral than it currently is. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 198.241.217.15 (talk • contribs).

Let us not all forget that he was after all named the MVP of the league. So basically it is saying he is the best in the league. I think, that based on the quotes used, then yes, the article has some bias.
