John Bartlett (Australian politician)

John Richard Bartlett is an Australian politician, elected as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly.
Bartlett was educated in the Hunter region and attended Newcastle Technical High School. He was awarded a BA, Dip. Ed and Dip. T.L by Newcastle University. He was a Councillor on Port Stephens Council for 16 years, including three years as Mayor and a librarian at Nelson Bay (now Tomaree) High School for 22 years. He is married with three children.
Bartlett has represented Port Stephens for the Australian Labor Party since 1999.[1] He is not contesting the 2007 election.
