John Brophy, born in Dublin on 25 October 1986, is a footballer currently playing with Eircom League side Shelbourne in the FAI First Division, having signed from UCD on 27 February 2007.
He has yet to make his debut for Shelbourne, due to FIFA's two-club ruling. Brophy was granted exemption from this ruling by FIFA on 29 March 2007[1], making him available for competitive games with immediate effect.
