John Hopkinson

John Hopkinson (July 28, 1849 - August 27, 1898) was a British physicist and electrical engineer.
Hopkinson became famous through his work on the application of electricity and magnetism in devices like a dynamo and electromagnets.
The magnetic equivalent of Ohm's law is named after him: Hopkinson's law.
