Johnny Perry

Johnny Wade Perry Jr. (1972 - 2002) was a top strongman competitor from North Carolina. At 6'5" and 375 pounds, he was one of the largest competitors ever to compete in the World's Strongest Man contest. He died abruptly on November 21, 2002 from a cocaine intoxication[1], possibly aggravated by an enlarged heart. He was ranked the 4th strongest man in the world by the International Federation of Strength Athletes at the time of his death.
