Jon Clinch

Jon Clinch is an American writer, teacher and advertising agent. Originally from upstate New York, he graduated from Syracuse University and has taught American literature. He has worked in Philadelphia as the creative director of an ad agency, and as of 2007 runs his own agency. He has written stories which have been published in MSS magazine.
In February 2007 Random House published his first novel, Finn: A Novel, a critically acclaimed[1][2][3] re-telling of the back story of "Pap Finn," Huckleberry Finn's father from Mark Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1884).
