Josip Magdic born on the 19th of December 1985, is a profesional football (soccer) player. He currently plays as an attacking midfielder for the Australian A-League club Perth Glory. He started his career with WA Premier League club Floreat Athena, later signing with Croatian second division side NK Slavonija Požega. He returned to Floreat Athena for the 2006 season and was playing so well that he was snapped up half way through the season by Perth Glory. The 2006/2007 A-League season was a learning experience for the youngster, he has already impressed head coach Ron Smith enough to remain on the Perth Glory roster for the next season.
