Talk:Josh Warner
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page deserves to be on Wikipedia due to the fact that Josh Warner's GOOD ART HLYWD line of jewelry is sold at Barney's in New York and Chicago, LouisBoston, and many Los Angeles based retailers. As you can see on the GOOD ART HLYWD Press page, the jewelry is worn by many Hollywood celebrities, such as Rachel Ray, Usher, Danny Masterson, Chris Masterson, Jennifer Lopez, Eric Balfour, Laura Prepon, Whoopi Goldberg, Boyd Tinsley, Cole Hauser, Lisa Marie Presley, John Galliano, Giovanni Ribisi, Ben Foster, Ashton Kutcher and Cobi Jones. Barney's also reports that Elton John has purchased numerous pieces from Barney's New York and David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox has also purchased pieces from LouisBoston.
With the recent increase in popularity and availability of GOOD ART HLYWD jewelry, I think that it is only fitting that people can find info about the designer behind the line.

[edit] Unique Niche, Unique Style
Josh Warner's jewelry is some of the more original handmade silver and gold accessories in contemporary fashion. Known for personally crafting each piece, and using only the highest grade metals and jewels, Josh Warner has collectors all over the world who covet his handmade rings, bracelets, necklaces, pendants, and chains. Often infusing Celtic and more feminine designs into the rugged shapes of his jewelry, his work stands out as having appeal to both sexes. While Chrome Hearts has long since become a corporate name brand for high-end "biker couture", and John Hardy maintains South Pacific rope-weave designs in his own conservative style, Josh Warner has found a space between the two. The variations in his designs all contain something unmistakably his - a balance between rugged and soft, displayed through the synthesis of different forms, metals, and jewels in his wide array of signature pieces. Its for this reason that many young celebrities and trendsetters, especially in the Hollywood scene, have made Josh Warner's jewelry part of their own signature style.
[edit] Ahead of his time...?
Clearly attaining any notoriety in jewelry design is hard to come by, but this guy's making moves. I first saw his stuff a few years back on an online article and have watched it pretty closely ever since. I can't really afford it, so I don't own any of his pieces, but as I learn the trade myself, I have become completely impressed with the detail in his work. He clearly has a huge celebrity following, which is great, but the more impressive thing is not who's wearing it, but how it's made. I attempted to recreate one of his clasps and have yet to get it down. Anyhow, I just googled him for the first time in awhile and am glad that someone like him can be accessed on a site like this...
