Well, most of his fanbase is composed of either married women or women over 40. "Lo que se ve, no se pregunta" LOL! That's funny!

[edit] Telenovelas

[edit] The most succesful and commercial singer-songwriter

I think it´s clear he´s the most succesful commercial musician in Mexican music history. Even Pedro Infante, Luis Miguel and other idols don´t have the "cross over" popularity of Juan Gabriel.

He´s a commercial singer-songwriter because there are "art" singer-songwriters as Fernando Delgadillo, David Haro, Lila Downs and others.
