Julie Nolin

Julie Nolin is a Canadian journalist, born in Calgary, Alberta, and raised in Lethbridge. She is the anchor of CH News at 5 (CHEK-TV) in Victoria, British Columbia.
Recently, she was co-anchor of CityNews at Six on Vancouver's CKVU (Citytv Vancouver). CityNews at 6 was cancelled on July 12, 2006.
Prior to working in television, she was a newspaper reporter, photographer and editor. Since 1996, she has filled various roles at stations in Lethbridge, Lloydminster, Swift Current, Calgary, Saskatoon and Edmonton. Aside from her work as an anchor, Nolin is a respected reporter and producer.
For over six years, Nolin was a documentary director, writer and producer for the award-winning program, "The Sharing Circle," which airs on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network. Her great, great grandfather is Metis politician Charles Nolin.
Nolin is married to Canadian political cartoonist Craig George. They have two sons.
