Julian Grybowski is the name of a contributor to Wikipedia.
He is a 22-year-old college student, studying Cultural Anthropology and Japanese, who has an abiding interest in Psychology, science fiction, British comedy, and (especially) Japanese comics and animation.
His chief contributions to Wikipedia are to articles relating to the manga and anime series One Piece and Dragon Ball, though his perfectionism and outside commitments to another Dragon Ball-themed website [1] keep him from engaging himself fully in these topics (much to his dismay). However, he has authored majority portions of several articles:
- Dragon Ball AF, a persistent rumor among the more credulous fans of Dragon Ball that has dogged those "in the know" for over half a decade;
- the Navy that appears in the series One Piece;
- the biography of Tony Tony Chopper, a member of the Straw Hat Pirate Crew (also in One Piece); and
- A description of the Going Merry, the ship used by the Straw Hat Pirates.
While he tends to let a lot of minor edits slide, he jumps into action when he sees serious factual errors or vandalism in articles he is knowledgeable about.
