Kai Arne Engelstad (born December 21, 1954 in Oslo). Is a former Norwegian Speed skater. Engelstad was a sprinter, and had the 1000 metres as his strongest distance he won a bronze medal on the 1000 m at the 1984 Olympics in Sarajevo, and the same year he came third in Sprint World Championships in Trondheim; he has otherwise came fifth two times and also seventh two times in the Sprint World Championships.
Engelstad has three norwegian sprint championships in (1977, 1978 and 1983). He represented the club ASK
