[edit] Poor Common Man of Pakistan's Viewpoint
It is a nice and neutral article I think but it doesn't describe the viewpoint of poor common man of Pakistan. Only a bunch of Sindi waderas (Land Lords) are against the construction of the dam. Who don't want prosperity among their harees (farm worker) to continue their dominance on those poor workers. Majority of the poor people of Sindh and industrialist of Karachi and people everywhere else in Pakistan wants cheap electricity and water in the river Indus for the all 12 months of the year. No doubt that these wanderas have given maximaum lose to this nation. They are truely behind the evil forces that dont want development in this country. Look at the electricity prices now. Look how much WAPDA is forced to pay to the IPPs (Independent Power Producers) for the electricity. Pakistan needs dams. Lets make some courageous decisions for the sake of our country's future.
