KAsteroids is an asteroids game for KDE. It is like the traditional arcade game of asteroids, but with some extra features. The game is written for the Linux platform and is released under the GNU GPL.

[edit] Objective of the game
The objective of the game is the same as arcade asteroids, which is to destroy all the asteroids.
[edit] KAsteroids features
- Fuel - Players have a limited amount of fuel. Using thrust to move around consumes fuel. Fuel can be regained by collecting fuel powerups released by asteroids.
- Brake upgrades - Players can collect brake upgrades to help brake their ship for more control, as well as lower fuel consumption.
- Shields - Shield upgrades can be collected throughout the game, so that if their ship goes into a rock, the shield can be activated so they won't lose a life. Activating a shield requires a lot of fuel consumption.
